The artist applies to the best traditions of Russian realistic painting of the middle XIX-XX centuries through his landscapes and shows the pith and marrow of nature.Today his heritage enriches the modern culture with the realistic and comprehensible art. L.P.Tikhomirov's creativity is rarely unalterable.
Strictly and consistently he adheres to the national tradition, drawing the inspiration from both the nature and the art of his predecessors: the Itinerants and painters from the Union of Russia artists. His landscapes and portraits, including portrait of ballerina Galina Ulanova, are widely known.

Konstantin Sutyagin is known to those, who loves modern literature and to those, who is interested in the "non-actual painting", with its loyalty to the nature, sometimes overwhelmed by childishness and wise simplicity. His Austria landscapes are especially interesting. He plays with the space boldly and with mastership, approaching to the viewer an object and putting it afar. It is a kind of "blow up" technique in painting.

Sergey Radyk says, that style is defined by the theme, and numerous methods are the way of it's disclosure. Artist shows the whole scope of his abilities, inherent to the Great Artist, working in different styles. «I gave scientific credit and named the whole trend in modern painting, created with artist improvisation only without any spade-work in sketches or on canvas» — Sergey Radyk.

Works of this artist are enveloped in a fragile tranquility, spirituality and the Orient light breath. It's away from the vanities of this world, carefully protected of any occasional event, which can extinguish the inner light. The concept of style is a tuning fork for selection of hue combinations, which are reflected to the theme of painting.

Fantasy Realism
1948-2017 (Moscow, Russia)
Art of Vladimir Petrov-Gladky invariably gets sharp evaluations and comments: from admiration to indignation. Meanwhile Petrov-Gladky is on integral part of Russian culture. His painting is a strange amalgam of contradictory traits: where his contemporaries - artists of underground art - tend to a terse style and restraint, he, on the contrary, seeks a picturesque and figurative exuberance. Artist belongs to an unofficial or "other art", he is the representative of the line associated with visionary art and fantastic realism. But it's the superficial analogies, only partly helping to approach to his art.

The fusion of impressionism and realism in Russian school of painting has become a benchmark for Andrey Lyssenko, defining notional and plastic coordinates in his art. One of the major lines of this trend is active presence, where interpretation is closely connected with his creative attitude in religion and history-oriented works, and where in still-life and landscape the artist is in pursuit of harmony between nature and man, color and light.
Studied in Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute of the Russian Academy of Arts.
Andrey goes on creative journeys around the West Europe and Canada after his graduation (1998).
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (1999).

"My work has engaged issues of identity, intimacy and mortality. I use painting as a means to orientate my position within contemporary culture. <…> I want to reflect the ongoing contemporary preoccupation with mass-produced and consumer driven images and the difficulty of reconciling one’s individuality with this constant input of images and ideas from the outside, media-dominated world. I very much feel that such images have created a modern paradigm or tradition which many in society find inescapable. For me, painting is imperative as a means of challenging traditional expectations, representation and perception".
