Opening of Exhibition "Austria though the eyes of modern Russian Artists". 13th March 2014, Vienna.

The preparation has taken almost three years (2010-2013). Within this period Austria has been visited by 14 famous Russian painters invited by Allrus gallery to take part in plein airs in Vienna and other country lands. As a result - the painters have created 125 paintings and drawings which have built up the exhibition’s exposition.

The greeting speeches for the exhibition’s guests have been held by: the project’s curator, the Head of the department of painting of XVIII-XIX centuries of the world famous Russian museum “Tretyakov gallery” Lyudmila Markina, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Austrian Republic Sergey Nechayev, the President of the Austrian-Russian Frendship Society (ORFG) Ludwig Scharinger, the General Secretary of the ORFG Florian Stermann, the Director of the Allrus Gallery and the project’s author Roman Fedchin. 

The design and the publishing of the catalogue have been implemented under the curatorship and guidance of the leading Arts Critic and Coeditor of the “Tretyakov Gallery” Magazine Natella Voyskunskaya.
